    Probably my last one for the night. Damn state dependent learning! Moving on to diet dew after this for the rest of the night.

    alright my droogs, another late start on the evening.....i had two Southern Tier 2xIPAs at dinner at my new favorite restaurant in town. Nice & Crisp. Now home, I had to take a break to brine the turkey I'll smoke tomorrow and then made the pumpkin cheesecake I'll stuff in my face tomorrow (we're doing our "Thanksgiving with Friends" tomorrow). Now that all that is done, I've snuck into tomorrow's stash and and I'm sipping a Bourbon County Stout, the first I've ever had. Wow, delicious. Amazing how they hid the 15% abv. Great wood & bourbon flavors. Great stout base.

    Figured I'd try something new tonight like a Samuel Smith Winter Welcome Ale. I appreciate the fact it doesn't have a whole lot if any spices. Although I did think it would pour darker. It's a solid beer in my opinion, I'll have to get around to trying more Samuel Smiths!

    Normally I don't care for malty beers or even "balanced" beers but this one really blew me away. Initial malt bomb followed by total awesomeness. Crazy thing is I bought this on my hiking trip in Denver and I have no reason why except the price was right.
