Meant to post this yesterday. Logsdon Peche n Brett. Little flat from this bottle, and not as funky as usual. Not the best batch, but still tasty!

Tried out Da Shootz in a gigantic can last night. I wasn't expecting much, but I liked it. Light and crisp with a touch of actual yeast character. They nailed the lawnmower beer category.

Been a long while since I've had a Damnation. Cork literally blasted out of the bottle after I took the cage off. First time that's happened for any beer to me. Cheers!

Working on a Bale Breaker Hop Country Session IPA (IPA Rotator Series No 1). Nice brew. Better than the revamped F41. Not the same flavors, but not too far off either.

Doing a bit of ticking this afternoon; BB BLIPA Flight #320, BB Summer Vibes, Twin Sisters Zweikelbier, and now a Silver Moon SMB Ale 47 (Golden ale).

@sharpski , what can you tell the class about the SMB series? I also grabbed an IPA (forget the number just now).

Found a Crikey at the bottom of the box (I think I meant to ship it, but ran out of room) dated 1/29/19. Still damn delicious.

Having a Fort George Fields of Green (Kay) at Orenco Taphouse. It's good. Insert standard comment about how much better it would be with more bitterness.

Silver Moon has done some private label business before, but this appears to be an offshoot brand 100% controlled by the brewery. The slogan is “beer for doing stuff,” intending to be lawnmower/weekend project low ABV beers for the regular Joe. The Golden Ale is 4.7% and the IPA is 5.3%.

I don’t do stuff much, so the marketing doesn’t particularly resonate with me, but I enjoyed both and could see myself grabbing a 6pk or suggesting it in certain situations.

I didn't make the connection between the ABVs and the beer names. I thought they were the 47th and 53rd in a series.

I think they’re supposed to evoke vintage racing stripes and race car numbers. The marketing copy from SM themselves: https://www.silvermoonbrewing.com/beer-for-doing-stuff/

Quite enjoyed a Modern Times/Wayfinder Abaddon helles. They must have refined the recipe for this year's version, for the better. Last year's had a sharp, offputting, bitter edge, but this year's is nice and clean. Good stuff.

Ah shoot, I didn't know Wayfinder was involved in that.

I should've had a pint of that instead of that can of She's Fast Enough For You Old Man. The name was the best part of that beer.

I'm having a Wayfinder Flowers in the Kettle IPA. It is hazy, rather than opaque, and nicely juicy.

Tasty. Better than either of the beers I had last night. Would drink again.

Thank you for the recommendation! I'm drinking one now and it's mighty fine. The mouthfeel does feel a little flat, though
