Getting my hop fix with some Great Lakes IPA.

This beer smells like a Grapefruit was cut open, had the flesh of the fruit ripped out and then stuff with weed.

And I love it!

Another white stout from Brew Link. This was awesome. Aromas and flavors of big milk/white chocolate, cocoa, medium roast coffee, vanilla, cream, frosting, cookies, honey, white bread dough, and toasted biscuit malts; with lighter notes of fruit, pine, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery hops; and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready malts; and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, minimal warming 7.8%. Awesome balance between rich malts, cocoa, coffee, lactose, vanilla, and authentic cookie flavors; with balancing earthy hops. Lightly sweet with lingering dryness. Liked this just as much as the session version they make. Will get again.

These two keep digging up my yard.

 

Amazing as usual. Flavors of huge red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Crisp/drying finish and never astringent on bitterness. Amazing juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop profile; with a clean pale malt backbone. Refreshingly drinkable for an IPA even at 7.7%. Mosaic and Equinox hops are my favorite of all time. They have been changing around the hops every year; but as long as those two stay, I don't care much. Still have a few left, but holding up perfectly well for 6 months old. Will clear them out before Born Again lands.

Just finished season 3 of True Detective. The first season was great but this was my favorite. Now revisiting the Battle of Winterfell. Should have ended the series there. Ghost should be the king. The goodest king.
