    Interboro No More Mr. Nice Guy

    English Barleywine with Kent Golding. First one of the style from Interboro. This beer is very nicely done.

    Hazy, citrus juice looking body; thick and frothy white head. The smell exudes strong citrus fruit and rind notes; some orange and grapefruit. Tangy and juicy tasting beer; lemon and grapefruit dominate with a touch of orange; some bready malt notes; nice hop bitterness. Heavy body; velvety with some acidic offsets; dry and biting on the palate.

    This beer does a fine job of balancing haze, juiciness and bitterness into an enjoyable NEIPA-like beer. While not quite unique or earth-shattering, it still delivers a powerful appeal.

    A differnt Tripel Hop for a change. This one is from Brouwerij D'Oude Caert (Belgium).
    One of the singles I picked up in Belgium earlier today, besides the annual case of Orval.

    In all fairness, I was posting the videos of the music in the bar at that time. As you know, these NY breweries are very fond of their hip hop references and it simply would not be fair to only post hip hop videos :slight_smile: I'll be sure to get you on the next one though!

    I'll be honest, I didn't like Jai Alai. It's just too malty sweet of an IPA for my tastes.

    But our local store got this in, so I had to try it. Well... it's pretty much Jai Alai remixed, so my opinion didn't change much. But hey, it's a single can.
