    Nightmare Flayed Oat DIPA. This was awesome. Fantastic lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready oats/malts; some sticky hops, and slight lingering resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, no warmth of 9.6%. Feels like a lot of Citra/Mosaic, maybe some El Dorado. Super juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balance oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Well attenuated for the big ABV. Would buy another. 4.13

    Untappd notes say it pairs well with Aversions Crown deathcore, so here it is. I love that this brewery is so into hardcore metal music BTW. The Labels match the vibe.

    I probably have 50 glasses for beer, so that mathematically would work out to each glass being used 7 times a year or so.

    I use the Boundary Bay glass 5 times that much - or more. It is the perfect glass for a porter/stout/brown ale.

    Back in the day, watched the neighborhood idiot fling one across his yard that landed dead center into the roof of their station wagon. His dad came flying out their front door, and taught me every swear word in the book. That was about 35 years ago, and my brother and I still get tears in our eyes when the story comes up.

    Wife and I took our niece up to Dahlonega, GA and went to a “gem and gold mining” place that was interesting then went to see Amicalola Falls in the National Park in Dawsonville. Was definitely a huff to get to the top.
