What beer are you drinking now? #2443

One of my top favorite summer beers. Just got a 2nd pack today. Awesome blonde ale. Flavors of big juicy/tart lemon, lime, juniper berry, coriander, tonic water, and some salt; with some wheat/cracker malts; herbal, floral, grass, and yeasty earthiness. Light-moderate lime peel/spice bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced grainy malts, sticky spice, and fruit acids in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/spicy dryness. No astringency. Highly refreshing stuff. They really nailed this idea. Super flavorful for 4%. A bit more malt presence with this and last year, but just as impressive as ever. Might get a 3rd pack, but Shorts cake is coming around soon.

Family coming up next weekend, just got off the phone with my dad. Need to clean up my apartment hardcore. They got a hotel, but my dad will be staying in my extra room, so need to make room for the air mattress vs all the brewing equipment.

Hoof Hearted Mosaic edition. This was fantastic as expected. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-plus body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 8%. Amazing Mosaic profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering crisp resin dryness. Mosaic is my top favorite hop, so I knew I'd love this one. Best variant so far.
