    and Enjoying this 3 Fonteinen Cuvee Armand & Gaston, apparently good until 2038. Nothing wrong with it right now

    Thunder storm came through, but I had to light the pizza oven during it because it takes almost 2 hours to come to temp. Standing on the porch keeping an eye on it and drinking from a growler picked up today at Little House Brewing..Paper Pines, an "old school IPA". Vaguely reminiscent of a Ballentine Burton Ale.

    Forget IPAs, this is one of the greatest "beers" ever made, period. I stopped doing top 3's a long time ago because my palate kept changing, and more breweries were coming out with new and interesting interpretations of the style. I think I now realize that this is my favorite IPA of all-time. Yup, it truly is. Cheers, and here's to finding (ultimately drinking) that one beer that makes you say "holy shit" with every sip. LARRRGE...

    I use an app to track what I drink if I'm having more than one while out. That doesn't happen often though. I pulled up the app today because I may need to grab dinner later. I feel like the app doesn't know me very well.
