    Nothing really hits the spot on a hot, humid, intermittently rainy summer day than a low ABV, bone-dry, crisp, refreshing, tart farmhouse ale with no frills, bells, or whistles. Just slightly tart and very rustic, with no tacky wheat grain flavour. Foundstion has absolutely nailed this with Zuurzing. It has been a favourite since I discovered it last summer, and will continue to be a favourite for as long as it's around. Certainly a desert island beer contender.

    This and Heady were for sale at Gillette last night. I cursed the fact that I was the driver, but oh well. My bottles of water were thirst quenching at least.
