@Franfab liking this dark roasty pb and vanilla tastes not sure who but ten fidy makes stovepipe cans delicious thanks
Boom! At least I got the base right. Thanks @brewnic! Can't wait to see WUT the rest of the weeks surprise's are
Day 1 can 2. Not @CBrodbeck 's stout but still very tasty. Flagler village toasted and roasted stout. Thanks for a good start @CBrodbeck
Day 1 from @Griff57 brought a 32oz crowler of some sweet, tangy juice. It was obviously a fruited sour, but hell if I had any idea where it came from. Froth Brewing Mango-Peach OG. I have never heard of these guys, but they know how to make a tasty frooted sour! As it turns out, they are fairly new to the beer scene in Buffalo. If they are making joose this good, this early, they have a bright future ahead of them. Thanks again Chris!
Day 1 from @Bstagnone was a cork and caged bottle with no obvious markings. The beer is quite tart and medium sour with lots of peach, some lemon, some hay, and some funk. Nose is oak, peaches, and funk. No idea what this one is but guessing Trillium Sour. Wrong! I have never heard of this one but it’s good! Now that I know grapes are in it I get them too....Great easy start to the week. Thanks @Bstagnone
Two nice Day 1 beers to enjoy courtesy of @beatjunkee First up, an excellent peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla sweet stout that had tons of peanut butter and overall was well balanced Next up, a tropical DIPA with a nice amount of lingering bitterness Thanks Con! First two Bluejacket ticks did not dissapoint! Can't wait to get into the next 5 days
Day 1 of the Newbies Summer Sixer courtesy of @Steban. Nice and viscous Stout. Getting that coconut hit, thick chocolatey coffee taste and ends with some sort of fruity notes. Probably in low double digits ABV-wise. And the reveal shows its Burial Anno Donimi MMXIX. This is getting better as it warms a bit. Thanks man!
Day 1 is in the books. Peaches and wine barrels from @Burrass . This was real good and a great way to start six days of drinking. Thanks Matt!
Day 1 from @Tifore began with big bold dark chocolate and coffee flavors: Immediately It became obvious to me this beer is something special. I had very much zero idea on the brewery until the unraveling: Tree House Double Shot Vanilla Bean! A very long time want of mine, and it did not disappoint. Many thanks Tyler, this was a huge Day 1 treat!
Wrong, not vanilla it toasted coconut. Bitter coffee coming through the more it warms. No bourbon, but barrel is contributing to vanilla flavors. Solid stout. Thanks @CBrodbeck
