    Hope everyone had a good Friday. Normal day as usual. Pretty low key, not too many emails. I am meeting some friends at Ascension later to do a little share. I shaved my head off again because it was getting annoying as hell.

    Mikkeller SD Kellerbier. This was awesome. Bit of a gusher can. Amazing lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; with moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppercorn hops. Moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, zesty, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light lingering resins. Moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness, no hop astringency. Smooth, pretty refreshing, zero warming 5.4%. Very clean lagering, minimal fruity/yeasty. Awesome clean pils malt showcase, with perfect noble hop presence/balance. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Spot on stuff! 4.16

    Killing some fridge stragglers while making cookies with my kids. Not sure if the date on the bottle is best by or packaging, so this is either really fresh or quite old. Tastes good on a hot day, so no complaints here. Cheers!

    If we can't share a few beers and give each other the shit, as we would in a "real" bar, then why are we here? I've taken some good jabs from guys over the years and I just responded with: "I love you." Cheers.

    The nice thing about being temporarily unemployed (long story; it's voluntary) is that I can fuck around during the day. The downside to being temporarily unemployed is also that I can fuck around during the day. I feel like I need to fill out a spreadsheet or something. Contribute, maybe? Or try more new beer...

    This is tasty and less over-the-top juicy than expected. A DIPA from Weldwerks and Bottle Logic that is floral/herbal and peachy. 4.35/5

    I don’t care for this beer as much as I used to, I think they changed the recipe though. It tastes like seltzer with lime now, super pleased I bought two six packs.

    look: 3 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.25

    Fine light gold body, crystal clear; no lasting head, pours initially with a huge bubbly appearance then fades away completely; continued light carbonation bubbles rising throughout the drink. Very pleasing aroma; biscuit; mild fruitiness. Excellent flavor blend; esters (pear-like), a bit sweet, fine hop bitterness, light cereal grain base. Medium body; feels a little syrupy; semi-dry mouthfeel throughout.

    I got this one in a crowler, so I don't know if that had any impact with the lack of semblance of a head, but this is the major defect of this beer. The smell and taste, pretty decent as is, would, I suspect, be improved greatly with some better carbonation and head retention. A good beer overall but needs work.

    I will keep my eyes peeled for the Bonfire but I would imagine the store would have to sell through the older New Trail stock to order more.

    Really nice ipa. My first Magnify in quite a bit. Taste that Vic Secret hop big time. Lot of flavor for 5.9%.

    I'm guessing the particulate in this beer would turn a lot of people off, no doubt. It's certainly an interesting one-off from the brewers in Hershey. Cheers.
