Hop Butcher (2019)

Looks like 3 beers this week? Including a Hefe? I'm in!!

Was hoping not to buy any beer this week (just got back from New Glarus, and between the brewery release and Modern Times distroing there, I spent too much on beer), but I'll have to at least grab a 4-pack of Old School.

 

I’d really likely them to try an Oktoberfest

 

A Hefe with Sabro!!!! That's an interesting spin on a classic.

 

Never had the pleasure of trying Hop Butcher while I lived in Chicago ('13 and '17, separate 5-6 month windows) so looking forward to trying "whatever" is on tap at Beer Temple in a few days.
Will look for these latest ones and the Hefe looks might interesting too (just hyped on FB/IG)

 

Looks like the Hefe is gonna be in similar quantities to the Pils. Place by me didn't even get any.

 

Anybody seen these at Grand yet?

 

Yep, rolled in around 1:10 pm today and it was in the back!

 

My usual place didn’t get any but got pils last time. I happen to be by prestige when it dropped, looked like they only got one case.

 

Grand still has plenty of Old School, a couple packs of the Hefe. Didn't check for the others.

 

Stopped at Hammar's in Geneva @ 3pm - Picked up 2x Old School packs, 1 can of Dark Hedges (was a 1 can limit and they only had 3 cans left at the time), and Wurlitzer was already gone. Thankfully was most looking forward to Old School, because milkshake is my jam and I liked the Riff.

 

If only you could comment on people you aren't friends with on there...

This reminds me of an Untappd review from an Eagle Park beer I saw previously. It was something along the lines of: "if I can see the menu through the beer, you know it's going to suck. It counts as a check in though so there's that"
