    Dogfish Head Sea Quench 4.9%. I see this stuff everywhere now. It's usually fresh and kept cold. Its hard for me to pass up.

    [​IMG] Bomb Blue a sour Gose with blueberries 5%. Pours a gorgeous purple with a half finger sticky head that leaves thin streaks of lace with a purplish hue. 4.75

    Smell is pretty straight forward tart raspberry, blueberry, lime, and grapefruit rind. 4

    Taste follows very tart upfront lime, grapefruit, raspberry, and mellows in the finish with some nice fresh blueberry. 4

    Mouthfeel is big for 5%, plenty of prickly carbonation, a tad dry making you smack your lips waiting for the next sip. 4

    Overall this is a beer that is not in my normal comfort zone, but this is really nice for what it is and masterfully crafted by two guys who are just in the zone. 4

    Beautiful and clear amber hued body; nice head, lasting. Sublime ester bouquet on the nose; mano and pineapple. Excellent light malt backbone with a prominent hop bitterness; cracker and biscuit. Medium body; crisp and sharp on the palate; warm; dry mouthfeel.

    This beer is a pleasant revelation. It exudes classic west coast IPA qualities and drinks easily. Very nice.

    Black, opaque body topped with a thick and creamy light tan head. Excellent roasted and charred grain scent; cocoa. Bitter chocolate and cocoa flavors; a touch of vanilla and cinnamon; fine bitterness counterbalancing the mild sweetness. Heavy body; smooth and chewy; semi-sweet through out.

    This is a straightforward, uncomplicated yet rich and satisfying dark ale.

    Thanks Don. Lovely yard, no pool.

    I’ve read other reviews where people loved the CW beer; and some had crazy floaties issues with their bottles too. Weird.

    I agree. The beer picture looks nasty. Yuck!

    Congrats on the house. It has been many moons since I bought a house. I am sure the process is easier than I remember.

    [​IMG] [​IMG] Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass canned on 8/27/19. Pours a hazy yellow with a solid finger plus sticky white head, that leaves big thick rings of lace with excellent retention. 5

    Smell is pineapple, tangerine, papaya, honeydew, and just the smallest amount grapefruit rind. 5

    Taste follows juicy as heck tangerine, pineapple, honeydew, papaya, and just the most subtle of grapefruit in balanced finish. 5

    Mouthfeel is big but extremely soft almost creamy, not dry but slightly sticky from all the fresh hops, and at 8% incredible drinkability but packed with flavor. 5

    Overall well I went in with huge expectations and this one totally delivered the goods. I would put up with all the great NEDIPAs around the country. I can’t think of a thing I would change. Perfect 5
