What beer are you drinking now? #2508

This is still really enjoyable. Magnify/Sand City collab. Creamy, citric smoothness. Looking forward to a serious seafood fest in a little bit.

Alibi is listed as a hoppy blonde ale by Ocelot. It’s hoppiness at this time screams session IPA, as it is pretty light but with a strong Mosaic pungency.

Back from a long walk to the park with Abbey (a huge Great Dane) and Sherman (a large Bearded Border Collie) our friends’ dogs, and we got caught in a shower upon our return...drying off - I’ve got to make space for the beer I brought with me, so ... Kirkland’s India Pale Ale:



Dull, earthy bitter hops; semi sweet malt base. Brewed and bottled for the Kirkland’s store chain by Bricks And Barley Brewing Company, Steven’s Point, Wisconsin...I’ve had better IPAs...much better...enjoying the breeze and on again off again sunshine on the back patio. Cheers all you Labor Day beer drinkers!

 

They seem to be producing some of their old hits (generally a Pilsner malt with 2 hops) recently. They had been doing more “juicy” for a while.

Every so often I like to see if I’ve gained the ability to breath beer. As of yet, I am not so evolved.

 

Some Oktoberfest. Will drink through this and the SN before moving onto some of the paler versions

 

Some other beer brought back from California (my daughter didn't want it).

 

It's turned sunny again. And it's still technically summer so why not?

The cooking part of the cook out is over, just popped the top of a pint can of Hazy State by Collective Arts Brewing from Ontario Canada. 4.1%ABV.

I was gifted 3 cans and its an excellent example of a session IPA.

It was listed as an AIPA, I used Beer Tools to suggest that it be moved to the NEIPA category and BA agreed. It went from being ranked #3,878 as an AIPA to #1,791 as a NE style overnight.

Beer #7.

A rarity. A peanut butter beer that can be enjoyed in warm weather. I applaud the risk of adding pb to an esb. The peanut butter tastes authentic, but you’re not weighed down by it, like you would be in stout form.
