Moved on to some other big beers but this was the most noteworthy. Just a fantastic brew!

I'm having this year's Our Special Ale with some chocolate chocolate chip cookies. These are like brownies in cookie form.

Finishing up a Buffalo Bill's Blueberry Oatmeal Stout.

    Here's my review:

$1.99 + $0.04 recycling fee from Claymont Total Wine & More

A: Dark cherry maple tones. A deep, rich center. Solid half inch khaki head immediately after pour; fades down quickly with heavy lacing. Beer itself looks a little thin.

S: Heavy blueberry filled the area when I popped the cap. Strong oat scents once poured, but oddly, no blueberry hints.

T: No blueberry! What happened?! Heavy caramelized malts, baked oats, and frontal alcohol. Reminiscent of a bitter English Dry Stout.

M: Very thin. Hops leave slight tingling on the tongue.

OVERALL: It's a decent hopped out Brown Ale, but far from an Oatmeal Stout. I felt a little ripped off due to the lack of blueberry on the palette. If you're looking for a great blueberry stout go with Tres Blueberries by Dark Horse. Buffalo Bill's version is just too thin and too misleading for me to give it a thumbs up. On the bright side, the bottle was cheaper than dirt and the ABV is 7.5%, so I'm digging a buzz.

Firestone Double Jack. I normally don't go for the IPA's but this one is pretty tasty!

I had a couple of Narwhal's and now I'm sipping some Evan Williams Egg Nog with the wife over a DVR'd episode of Grimm.
