No SD&H! They didn’t can it yet. I panicked and loaded up on Crunchee.

Haha. Did get a good run in with @Max_W and @GreaserGreg

Also they didn’t can’t SDH in the end. Maybe that’s contributing to the extra chillness. Sounds like will be midweek or next weekend.

    Edit - just saw @FatSkippy ’s Post

My first time trying a crunchee. It tastes exactly like the description except for the berliner weisse part. I'm not sure this is beer.

The Blueberry one that was a collab with Weldwerks was awesome, been less enthused with the rest of them. I’m hoping they get some of those ROC stout cans tomorrow given that SDH didn’t see cans.

Enjoyed the magnum pours earlier, both the idea (atmosphere was pretty fun) and the beer itself. Small pour was all I needed I think, got lots of Oreo and banana

Went to OH last night, the tap list was daydream nightmare... If you didn't want the milk you had to grab a triple.

It's Always Green in Sonoma was excellent... But they were charging 12oz prices for a 8oz pour.

Jream was a mess, I should have known better.

All in all it seems the other Other Half in WNY is now the better half.

Despite an off centered feel, there is a respectful gimmick to the “Silhouette,” as the milked coconut, pounded granola, and sugared mounds takes precedence. The stand-ins are light of fruity pebbles, and peach cobbler. So, a forefront of hearty breakfast material, given a maple soaked, oatmeal realm + an opening of boxed chocolate, creamed vanilla, silky caramel, and smoothed nugget (e.g. crunched snickers/snickerdoodle). In any case, the hindsight of peach cobbler struggles to persevere, as does the besieged pineapple cocktail, but it lingers in its inimitability given room temp

I mean no disrespect by using you as an example, but when I recently made the obvious suggestion, to some ridicule, that we all perceive the same thing differently, this is exactly the sort of profoundly subjective and contingent perception I had in mind.

Like Shakespeare counseled unto us all, you've been true to your own self. Amen.

A Crunchee “conditioned on peach, coconut, almonds, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla and milk sugar” – it pretty much did what it was meant to do, with the hop profile coming out more upon settling

This is like when your wife sends you to the store for some milk and you come home with half and half instead.

Those two beers are so dissimilar it'd be more akin to bringing home ketchup or...laundry detergent, say, instead of milk.

But maybe the history of dairy malfeasance in your marriage goes deeper than we know.

While I agree, it was a reference to an old post made by a certain someone.

As an aside, it was a pain to find a post about milk and half and half in a thread about Other half where we constantly shit on milk sugar.

This most recent batch of ACE is pretty damn close to perfection. I mean.. it kind of always is but this one maybe a little more so.

Also, I really dug Small Galaxy Everything. Great galaxy goodness at 6.5%. A friend was mentioning how when drinking these DIPAs you need a “pacer beer” if you want to stay vertical. #smagalev clicks all the boxes for tops in that category.

    Wow.

That post predates my move to New York (or regularly following this thread), and I had no inkling whatsoever about Malcolm's lactic misadventures upon his arrival from the UK. He only mentioned having to loosen his belt after unwittingly drowning his breakfast cereal in liquid milk fat for months, but that practice must have wreaked even more havoc on his wardrobe of spandex. Welcome to America, I guess. It's what we do "best."

If the folks at Other Half are truly following this discussion, I hope they will find it in their hearts to brew a hefty stout and/or Berliner made with Golden Grahams and a High Density Lactose Charge (HDLC) of powdered cream sugar.

They could call it Other Half & Half.

They do have the Barrier collab milk stout named Half and Half, but please don't give them any HDLC ideas!
