Also, mustard on hamburgers was something I always had to sidestep while going to school in Buffalo. I thought I'd never have to re-live that trauma again, but here we are.

 

I went to school in Rochester. Sorry for dredging the food memories. Don't get me started on what passes for pizza in that area of the state.

 

But you know what they put on french fries in Holland instead of ketchup?

What is the “Brooklyn-correct” style of pizza? Which NYC places embody it? Which ones are a stain on the city? What flavors/toppings are acceptable? Which ones aren’t? What condiments (if any) are allowed? And finally how should a slice be consumed?

I’m going to guess you’re a Neapolitan-style, $25 for an individual pie-buying, Gorgonzola, rooftop Kale and foraged Catskills honey-consuming, knife and fork kind of guy. But maybe I misread you.

 

No dig from me (unless you’re using a knife and fork) but I imagine tallerboy would like nothing more than to pour gas on the place and light the fucker up, while eating a folded plain slice from Joe’s
