I can see why Spicy Island was such a big hit, the pineapple blends really well with the base. Blueberry Pancake I didn’t like as much, the overpowering blueberry flavor was not balanced. Maybe it will be better with some time.

 

Glad to hear so many positive reviews of the Spicy Island. The reviews from the party were generally quite positive, so it seems to be surpassing the collective (modest) expectation.

Any comments on the Grand Reserve to share here? Reviews seem very positive thus far...

Had Grand Reserve a few times while I was down there last week. Honestly, it's fantastic. Boozy and sweet, lots of barrel character, and since they finished it in brandy barrels it's not as oak heavy as it could've been.

 

Yeah I didn’t get the peppers at all until I had been drinking the beer for a while, then all of a sudden I could feel it on my tongue. Great beer!

 

Whats the last day for RS to order BT?

Everyone is commenting on the blueberry in BP BT, but isn’t it supposed to have maple as well? Is there any maple presence or is it like unsoured Blue BBLS?

Did the cans sell out? I'd delayed ordering because I figured there was plenty with the size of the allotments. Going to pick up a couple now.

I was surprised to see a second round available with the Anni box. I kind of thought that it was going to happen when I got the "refresh" email on Friday and they had not sold out. Just picked up another one, even though I've only had Spicy Island so far. I'll blame FegelFatso if I don't like the other ones.

Is it me, or does my CC feel warm to the touch?

 

No, the cans are still showing up in my allocations. And yes, my CC is feeling pretty darn warm these days...

 

Jon seemed to infer that they may have sold out over the weekend and may have refreshed this morning. I think the original allotment was 6 cans for RS and now it's down to 3 cans.

 

Any tasting notes on tripel berry hand pie? Was looking to get a few more based on description but wanted to see what the word was out there on it.

 

I just assumed we’d see one release of cans compared to amount vs bottles and was happy to see/buy more!
