Don't remember if it was mentioned and guessing I know the answer but, did the RS folks get their bottles of Brycescotti yet or coming out next month?

    My God...

What the f*ck (***not directed at any particular staff member***) are they doing to us!?!?

August was insane, September was insane, October was insane, and November looks INSANE (Cherry Chocolate Rain, Brycescotti, Winter Warmer, Fuzzy Blue BBLs, and MELANGE #1!!!!!!!!!)

November is going to hurt!!! But it's going to be oh-so-good pain!

Still think it's been a slow year???

Lol yes, it did start out slow. Surge in releases is cramping my wallet and cellar. Can't drink enough and properly function as an adult.

But wait, hold some $$$ back because that means December is bringing Thomas Rutherford, the Groundwork collab, a Hoarder box, BA 11 Pipers, and the 12 days boxed set. So yeah.

I know! After cracking into my BT10 box I was bummed that I hadn't bought a second but didn't due to the $$$$ already spent. Then yesterday I got the November preview email - holy cow! Guess nobody's getting Christmas presents this year, lol, lol, lol!!

I think it'll be a very light month of November for me.

I opened up the Pistachio & vanilla BT last night, the last variant. I'm glad I "forced" myself to drink them all fresh. Too often I wait. But since I got a few boxes... why wait !!

My notes on the anniversary box.

Blueberry pancake was hands down (no surprise) the best of the 4. Unless you hate blueberries or heavy forward fruity stouts. Otherwise, it was amazing.

Samoa. Tasted as advertised - like a coconut cookie. It was a little hot yes - still - was fantastic !

Pistachio & Vanilla. Very good, but not perfect. More vanilla than Pistachio. Not too nutty, alot of vanilla, but not super smooth. Possibly because it was a little hot, maybe more than the Samoa.

Pineapple Island. A big surprise on this one. The pineapple was not acidic, but sweet. Not sure how they did that, but great job! More sweet than spicy. heat, barely discernible in the finish. Curious if some bottles will have more heat.

Overall the anniversary box definitely met the high expectations. Though i'd probably prefer to of had 6 variants, rather than 4. I can live with that though!

I would add, Black Tuesday 2019 is their best batch since 2015 .

I opened a Spicy Island last night. Was very curious to see if I could taste any pepper as I got none of that at the BT Release party. I was pleased that when drinking a Spicy Island by itself, I could now pick out the pepper component. Not hot, not spicy but was more of an all over warming that left a tingle on the tongue. It worked very well with the pineapple. I would rate it as very good and hope that this variant comes around again in the future.

Agreed. Probably my fave fresh batch ever. Was able to have a can the day of public release (thanks to fast handling by my proxy) and promptly went back and got more bottles before they sold out that night.

Grand Reserve is unreal too, but so ‘barrel-y’ you can’t really compare it to a regular Black Tuesday. Like comparing Utopias to a regular ba strong ale. Definitely in a class, or style, of its own.

Next year raspberry cheesecake for Valentine's day. They can pair it with love potion 31 from Baskin Robbins.

Any feedback yet for the November beers? Really interested in Fuzzy Double BBLs and that White Chocolate Warmer. We all know CCR will be great.
