What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #2575

After a great amount of tasting at the FW anniversary event, having a XXIII right now. I always prefer a 40%+ Parabola content in my anniversary stuff (XVII & XVIII favorites), but pretty darn good.



I didn't try everything, but had a dozen of the following (pours were generous):



Later that night, we did the Bruce Munro Field of Light just out of town:

Lmao 50 was a God send compared to all the rappers of his time. I agree with you that Malcolm never got the praise he deserved. They just don't make them like they use to cheers sir

 

Maybe it's just the perspective, but those are some serious pickle chips. Homemade?

Tonight’s pool pic for @bowzer4birdie ... and a shout out to @Shroudofdoom ... I stopped for gas on the way home from the beach and these cans were 2 for $1.59 ... I can’t resist - Steel Reserve 8.1%, 80 cents a pint:

Better, worse, or indifferent?

Indifferent.

I'm more excited about cans just because they're easier and you don't have to worry about light or breakage. This one tastes like a bottle at the same age.

I won't buy bottles anymore if cans are available.

 

I vote DIPAs with a shot of bourbon on the side. This assumes, ofcourse, you are not going to drive.

 

Half Acre Burl

 

I still have two bottles of 2018. I was told that I could age them 3 to 5 years under cellar conditions. Hell, it may have been you. Names escape me.

Any thoughts about aging them?

 

I hear ya. I will do just that and report back.

 

SN West Coast Stout. I’ve seen where availability nation wide has declined for this beer. That’s a shame because this is a fantastic beer. Luckily easy to find here in Western North Carolina. Cheers!
