Stopped on the way home for my "Friday Fix".






Kicked back in relax mode and as you can see, I don't plan on moving my sorry butt from this couch anytime soon. This beer gets me in the Friday zone.





TGIF! !!

 

Received as an extra. First timer for me. Nearly a year old so maybe not a great representation. Coffee held up nicely in the aroma and flavor, but there's a misplaced assertive bitterness in the finish. Now I need to try a fresh one.

 

I agree, it looks damn good... Tastes just as good as it looks!

 

I fit that, and I agree. Only found out when my brother brought a single to the Buckeyes game. In my defense, I assumed it was a hazy, hopless NE beer from them.

 

I definitely agree, it's wayy up there. For sure one of my favorites. I think @TheIPAHunter would probably agree.

Went for an IPA instead of a DIPA (for now at least) and chose Japanese instead of bourbon.

 

We got to see him a while ago, can't wait for him to come around again, he puts out some great music. French Meat Pie Day sounds like a great tradition. Cheers.

Well this is different, actually enjoying it as refreshing and a palate cleanser.

For those of you who never served in the military (nothing wrong with that, just clarifying), a "Sky Pilot" is a chaplain, IE: a priest, pastor, rabbi. My dad was one in WWII, in Germany most of 1943-1944, Congregational pastor. I love this song........long 7:14 version.

 

Got this in a ninja box. Not a trade just some guy who sent me beer name withheld. I am glad I have that effect on folks .

I am pretty sure it was from @ECOBOOSTINST . Yard Sale. An IPA brewed by Lion Bridge.
