I also received that "don;t forget to renew" email, which made me do a double-take since it was for a RS renewal and I'd already renewed HS. I don't need both, lol.

I also saw the Black Tuesday 2020 box. That is GREAT news as I am really enjoying this year's box!

Yeah based off this one I’d buy another. Blueberry pancakes is killer.

Where did you see/hear that? Did it say anything else?

I'll join the crowd in saying I am very happy with the BT box.

A 2020 BT box sounds great too.

A tart baklava beer sounds really bad.

Could be. But everyone thought the BT pineapple and habanero would suck..

I'm pretty sure they read my early post hoping for that beer in the BT Box and then looked at my name. I can't see how this beer won't be perfect.

Tart + savory sweet beers tend to be pretty disgusting to me. Last one like that I had was Smore BBL’s and I damn near spit that shit out.

It's hard to imagine what a Baklava beer entails, that's literally the most sickly sweet food I've ever tasted, can't imagine how anyone enjoys that stuff

::time to dust off our best 'beetus jokes::

The Bruery did a baklava treatment of Black Tuesday some time back. It was maple and almond extract with a little cinnamon (I think?). It was super sweet but not bad. Making that beer sour would’ve made it horrid.

Heading to the main taproom tonight wearing my classic 'let's talk about kids in breweries' tee if anyone wants a society pour.

Interesting spice profile. Not a huge quad fan so I can't give a unbiased opinion but good for the style and fall/winter season.

Also reporting in on a few more.

Fuzzy blue double Bbls: is a big disappointment imo. Prior bbls series taste way better. It has the base sour taste of this style and no other complexity based on the description. Big let down.
Cherry chocolate rain: is drinking fantastic right now, the heat is not that noticeable and there is a very nice mellow cherry pleasant aftertaste.
Black Tuesday Blueberry pancake : immediately directly inject this into my veins. This is spectacular and one of the best bt variants I've ever had. Literally tastes like a Blueberry pancake mashed into a glass of bt, about to get a full pour....
White chocolate warmer : a great representation of the white chocolate style. Not overpowering and a great variant to an already great base style.
Toasterversary: meh, def taste the strawberries and vanilla but wasn't anything spectacular.
Jon lemon : 100% accurate to the description and tastes just as bad.
Archetype : for the amount this was talked up on social media, a big letdown. Tastes like a watered down Anniversary ale with some outlying unforgettable stout characteristics.

I also thought the John Lemon can I bought was oddly bad. It probably didn't help that I thought it was a stout all the way up until 2ozs had been poured into my glass...

but it was extremely thin and not particularly carbonated. Definitely a miss for me, and I usually like the adjuncty Barleywine/Wheatwine stuff Bruery does. When people call adjunct stouts "browniewater"... this was like 10 parts water 1 part mashed up sugar cookie/ lemon cookie. It was so bad, inside I want to hope there was something wrong with my can.

The porter chronology series was great. So much chocolate. Popped the rue d Floyd tonight. I really like their porter base the more and more I drink their Porters.
