    White Elm Barrel Aged Casual Friday Imperial Stout, 13% ABV. Pours black and thick with a two-finger brown head that left no lacing. Nose is bourbon and chocolate. Taste is bourbon, chocolate, a bit sweet and almost no bitterness. Excellent thick smooth mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

    Damn, Vikings didn't lose though the Lions did. It's a cloudy and cool fall day, but still nice enough that we grilled burgers for lunch, and will grill steaks for supper. We're making some cream-cheese-filled mini-peppers too.

    Without a doubt one of the best, perhaps the best, Geuze I've ever had. Balancing such an incredibly complex beer so perfectly is a true accomplishment and testimony to the skill of the blender.

    Yeah, for a couple of years my Snörkel was my go-to glass, but this Simon Pearce is so gigundo-large that it holds 16oz cans with room for a decent fast-pour head, and I've been drinking a lot of 16oz or half-growlettes lately. It would easily hold a stovepipe. Also, it's damn sturdy. I bought a pair of them on Ebay for half-price, so I have a spare. I've put the Simon Pearce Stout Glass on my Santa list.
