Your picture works for me too.

Imgur as a direct link from the app apparently isn’t supported anymore so like other third party image hosting site you’ve got to embed your pics link which apparently you succeeded.

Buy it, go back home, chill it, drink it and stay at home! Same brewery as Cuvée des Trolls by the way.

I used Postimage for this pic after my Imgur app gave me an error message saying I was posting too often. Haven’t used it since Friday, and only posted one pic then.

Using it too often? Yeah, that's ridiculous. Imgur is what I use 100% of the time, so if it ever sh*t the bed on me, I'd reluctantly have to find an alternative.

Hopefully it’s a Seattle thing and when I return to Philly it works splendidly again.

Happy Monday, BA! Starting with a new brewery to me, AKiA Brygghus and their APA Press Play On Tape. Very enjoyable.

It’s been 10 years this year since the original drummer of Avenged Sevenfold passed away. Listening to stuff from all of their albums tonight. This one is for Jimmy.

Spoetzel Brewery -- Shiner Bohemian Black Lager

    look: 4.25 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Deep, dark brown body; nice carbonation; thick and creamy head. Faint aroma, generally malty with a bare suggestion of roasted grain and chocolate. Watery, roasted grain flavor; faint caramel; decent hop bitterness at the finish. Medium-light body; a little fizz at the finish of each sip; rather watery; malt grain warmth develops at the finish.

The beer's best feature is its looks. Otherwise, while not a total washout, the beer comes across rather thin and weak where it counts -- the smell and taste. It gets a bit better as it warms up, yet doesn't escape the mundane.

FML, Monday living up to it's reputation. Wake up at 3am to get my day going to find my hot water heater cracked over night. Laundry room flooded, my Mac G5 backup hard drive died in the process. Turns out the people who owned this house before us were running the water heater on 40 watts instead of normal 30, so we need an electrician.

$2000 later Christmas is ruined for my family. Time for some 9%, trying to stay positive.

The appearance is top-notch; brownish-amber body with excellent carbonation; the head is dense and cream, very long lasting. Nothing changes with the aroma; peaches mainly but with some nutty malt elements. The taste dips; the initial impression is of watery, cherry soda; some warmer malt and pecan notes develop late. Medium-light body; thin and somewhat fizzy; nice overall warmth.

Like many Spoetzel offerings, the taste and mouthfeel just feel weak and watery. It's a shame since their various style offerings could be so much more with some extra effort. For a holiday ale, this beer works, but falls on the lightweight side of more robust offerings from other breweries.
    --------------
Nice, copper colored body with a good, foamy head. Definite peach aroma along with a nice, malty character. Light, caramel malt body with a fruity tang. Medium bodied; dry finish.

Shiner created a nice, easy drinking holiday ale. The peach and pecan nuttiness are noticeable but not overpowering. Good complexity and balance with a unique and enjoyable flavor.

Happy Monday BA's - a rainy crappy one it is too...

Ah well, there is always beer, am I right?

got a little "blue santa" photobomb going on...
this is a reproduction of a 100+ years old Santa - produced in my hometown Akron - the first production toy Santa and oldest one of a Santa - ever! Akron - besides being known as the Rubber Capital of the World, was also home to many many toy mfg's - back in the day....very cool

Did you know the earliest Santa's were depicted as "blue" - the Red colored Santa did not come about until 1931 when Coca-Cola used those colors in one of their ads

    speaking of Akron connections.....

[IMG] Poured into a 16oz snulip canned on 11/15/19. Pours a beautiful hazy orange yellow with a massive 2 finger sticky white head that leaves a bunch of thin streaks of lace. 4.25

Smell is pear, apple, mango, cantaloupe, tangerine, apricot, and a little white grapefruit rind. 4

Taste follows cantaloupe, mango, apple, pear, and tangerine upfront with some bitter apricot and grapefruit in the rather bold finish. 4

Mouthfeel is big, sticky not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8.2% ABV it loaded with flavor but easy going down. 4.25

Overall I am a fan and something about makes it stand out from all the other juice bombs around. I always dig what these guys are doing. 4
