Pale, translucent peach colored body; thin yet lasting head, a bit sticky. Aroma of stale citrus pith, dull sweetness and pine resin. Light powdered sugar sweetness with a biting and sharp bitterness; pine resin; faint suggestion of orange and lemon; boozy. Full mouthfeel; soft and velvety; sharp and acidic; alcohol heat.

Another hazy IPA, more bitter and boozy than subtle and complex.

Good to hear. That regular Bière de garde 3 Monts is rather awesome.
When available, these are rather fresh I believe. At least they don't last long on the shelves
Prices are normal, like Belgium an Dutch beers. We have somewhat more tax on alcohol, but negligible compared to Scandinavia (thank God).
    Cheers!

Gorgeous day here in Central MA, temps got up in the 50's. Finally managed to clear all the ice at the end of my driveway from the last snow we had. It rained on top of it and froze solid as a rock.

Now I'm having this - still a few of them in my fridge that need to go. Oktoberfests aren't my favorite style of beer, I get bored with them pretty quickly, this is one of the better ones imho. It avoids being too sweet and it's an easy drinker, refreshing.

    Solid ice ...

Gonna start with this one today. Hopefully, I'll be able to get into some new brands over the next few days. Mrs. Santa said she heard that there could be some mixed varieties hidden under the tree. I see some nicely wrapped boxes so I hope she's right. :stuck_out_tongue::beer:

Nice pictures, you live in an awesome location! Do you take your boats out of the water for the winter?

What do you think of that beer - It's $20 a 4 pack near me and I've *almost* bought it but haven't done so yet?

    Cheers!
