    Good morning Advocates,

Just got back from errands before New Year Eve, and made an ass of myself. The mall was packed like never, got to the cashier and had forgotten my Credit Card PIN (mandatory here unlike in America where it’s only needed in ATM to withdraw cash). Bummer, thankfully I had 65€ in cash in my wallet and had to take out a few of my purchases. Guess what? I didn’t take out the beers.

Westmalle triple to forget about the incident and move on...

Have a good Monday. Going to be another day of gaming for me. Have to get past a hard battle in Skyrim I ran into last night. I bought a vacuum last night finally after my other one broke recently. I really needed to sweep the carpet lol.

Sierra Nevada Celebration. Awesome batch this year as always. Lasting head retention/thick lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with balanced caramel, toasted bread malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Amazingly drinkable. Super juicy and fairly dank/earthy Chinook, Centennial, Cascade hops; perfect bready malt balance, not overly sweet/heavy feeling from lingering resin dryness. I love C hops all year, the fresh hops are very obvious with the herbal/spicy quality going on. Will probably get another pack. This holds up amazingly over many months.[IMG]

    Cheers

Got past the first set of guards and got killed by the second set inside the Embassy in Skyrim. Will have to figure out a good way to use my magic to my advantage with these ones that can cast spells.

Surly Todd The Axe Man. Glad to have in the state now. Amazing as usual. Aromas and flavors of huge red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness. Medium carbonation/body and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 7.2%. Amazing Citra/Mosaic profile. Very juivy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a great balanced clean bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Top tier stuff. Will always be in the fridge now. Will have to break into some Abrasive soon.

[IMG] Some days I think, what would @bowzer4birdie do and the answer was have these two stout back to back and really get the day going. Not sure what one I like more, thinking Expresso KBS, but I don’t love maple or here it. Expresso I love.

On the booze maybe, but probably not enough snarky remarks to people not posting a picture of their beer.
