Have a good Sunday NBS. Not much going on, just a normal week of unemployment. I got in touch with a person for a Mechanical Design Engineer Position on Wednesday and had a phone interview. It is with an automotive supplier that makes Jeep and RAM accessories. Everything I was hoping for was initially promised, so I will follow up tomorrow and see if there is any updates. Going to be playing video games and guitar to pass the time otherwise. Skyrim needs some work.

Trader Joe's 2019 Vintage Spiced Ale. Haven't had one of these in over 6 years. Should keep up the tradition. This was incredible. Lasting thick head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big raisin, plum, fig, pear, apricot, red apple, peppercorn, coriander, cardamom, clove, anise, cola, brown sugar, roasted nuts, and toasted brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, licorice, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal, floral, grassy, roasted bitterness; and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium-full body; with a very creamy, bready, and fairly sticky mouthfeel. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming alcohol. Perfectly balanced between yeast, spices, and rich malt complexity. Not overwhelming on any aspect. This was far better than the other two I had previously! 4.28

Happy Birthday to @Shanex; forgot about it on the last post but hope whatever you imbibe in will be great, aside of the world health crisis and all.

Singlecut Softly Spoken Magic Spells. Fantastic NEDIPA. Lasting fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 8.6%. Feels like Simcoe, Citra, and El Dorado hops. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on style as expected. 4.23

I am drinking this delicious Drekker beer in honor of @Bluecrow's birthday! I went with a @woodchipper-style vision of beer-art, as we both have a similar piece of artwork for the background of some our finest pictures.
