Just made my first beer run in 2 months. Got an amazing reuben for lunch from one of my favorite stores; and also a ton of new beers to review! Owner is one of my best friends. After being there nearly every week previously, it's quite refreshing to see so many new beers around. There were still plenty more I could have gotten too!

    Beer:

Lagunitas Born Yesterday. Still tasting amazing. Flavors of huge red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Crisp/drying finish and never astringent on bitterness. Amazing juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop profile; with a clean pale malt backbone. Refreshingly drinkable for an IPA. Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic hops this year. Used to have Equiniox for years, but I guess they couldn't find a lot to use?

This beer excites me every single time I have it. That's the mark of a winner and, more importantly, a classic. Yup. This shit is straight classic. Peace...

Continuing my foray in NA beers - Erdinger’s “Non - Alcoholic”... less than 1/2 of 1% abv:

Deep gold pour with excellent clarity; four fingers of fluffy white foam; excellent cap retention; medium heavy lacing. Whiff of floral hops and DMS. Sweet bready malt with light floral hops taste. Thin but not watery body; medium carbonation. Overall, good tasting and no off flavors; firm malt base and enough hops so that the beer is not boring; I’d drink again.

Picked this up in Ann Arbor, Michigan (doesn't seem to have gotten to the East Coast yet). Missed IV and V, but VI is really enjoyable (as were I through III). Cheers to the world (especially in these trying times).

My son picked up a suitcase of these for me. After getting over the initial shock I realized he had also used my debit card.

Clear, clean, light in all respects, perfectly acceptable quaffing brew to wash down lunch. Drinking this further reinforced my long held belief that the best use for light beer is nursing a hangover.

If you don't think EQ is one of the top 3 NY breweries, let alone top whatever in the entire US, then I don't know what kinda time u on. That said, we do all have different tastes and that's LARRRGE. Cheers!!!

-the lack of access to saisons was one of the two motivators for homebrewing many years ago. Classic (a Belgian style saison) from Blackberry Farm Brewery. It is true to style.
