    That is the color I was trying to see in my earlier TG posts. I can't believe I put down fresh King Sue, at the expense of a completely failed other TG beer!

    Time for a blast from the past. Canned 1/23/2018.

    This ain't Wookie Jack (RIP), but I suppose it'll do. I let it sit this long, since I actually liked the dark malt richness of WJ and felt fresh Wookus was too hop-forward. Even 2+ years later, the hop bitterness is prevalent, but the malty base also comes out more which is what I wanted. But since this base is (contains?) rye, it's also a very different beer entirely.
