A sister who lives in Pennsylvania texted me and said the store she goes to is taking customer tempatures before allowing them into the store. I have not seen anything like that but I take her word for it.

Effective this Friday our state liquor stores reduced their operating hours. Went from 7 days a week, 12 hours a day to 7 days a week, 7 hours a day. They say it will give them more time to disinfect the stores. Some folks are fussing but at least they are not closing the stores.

Right NOW, I am picking up where I left off yesterday/early this AM. I had a pretty big day of it so I decided to take it a little easier & venture out for the first time in a while. I went by the library, but they are shut tighter than a drum with no returns being accepted! Wow. This buys me some extra time with the books that I currently have on loan. I also went to Bravo Market & loaded up on frozen meals, enough for a couple of weeks. Satiated, I came home, took a nap & NOW I am having:

Last I knew our liquor stores are open, with reduced hours and services. One is doing curbside sales. If one wanted to take my temp, I'd insist that rectal is more accurate. Or hold a hot washcloth to my head before going there.

You win some you lose some but both were great experiences (other than Minneapolis being like 30 below and my upset 10 year old left his coat in his seat and we had to fight back into the stadium to get it).

 

I don't usually have more than one beer on a weeknight (especially since I'm still doing work), but that Zombie Dust went down extremely easily. Now onto another beer from @ovaltine
