Haven't had this in a long while... Banger right off the start - immediate impression was stone fruit flesh splashed with citrus - juicy, bright, and full... Back palate found the sharp brown spike of clove and herb, but soft wheaty banana creeps in like a pillow that cushions it... Lush feel, faint tingle of spice and citrus - leaves a pithy shellac behind...

    Cheers...

    The music to my ears...

DUBCo Science of Selling Secrets. Excellent NEIPA. LAsting rocky head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 7% or lingering hop burn. Awesome Mosaic, Galaxy, Vic Secret profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. No complaints. 4

After giving it a couple of tries as my first beer of the day I don't think it's my palate but rather that I simply don't enjoy this one. A rarity when it comes to this brewer.

Kettlehead - Employee of the month.

However I am grateful to be drinking any Kettlehead, or any beer for that matter, during these crazy days.

Thanks! I generally use it only with sours. It’s on the thinner and more delicate side.

Having another Starr Hill IPA. I remember when their brewery was basically someones garage. Everything was performed by hand. Bottled just three brews. They have grown.

Day 9(?) of shelter in place. Popped open a 2017 Helldorado. OK. Kinda plain, really. Certainly not a drain pour, but I'm not going to miss it being in the cellar. Oh well, at least I'm enjoying the copy Of Los Angeles by X that I'm spinning on my Rega 2.

Little aperitif while grilling some chicken over applewood. Dessert will be lots of beers and green stuff.[IMG]
