With that case and other good Belgians, it was nice for YEARS. Then U.S. micros came along and the growth changed everything. Demand so far exceeds supply now, and we all get to enjoy the problems of the marketplace that exist when demand exceeds supply. There's both sides to this - increasing supply, and people finally learning to STFU about "converting" yet more people to the "cause".

Now that's deserving of a faceplam.

No tickets again, and according to the Mayan calendar this was my last chance. Bummer....

I find it funny that there are a handful of you in this thread that have been not only been overly critical of 3 Floyds handling of ticket sales or DL itself, who have also made me offers for my tickets.

They are/were selling some tickets at the brew pub today.

Makes plenty of sense, especially since those people probably missed out.

Back to the topic of the event...

I have a question for those who were in group c last year. This year I was only able to get group c tickets, last year I had group B so right when I got there we got in a line. Are you able to enter the event at any time or do you have to wait in the big line to get bottles? Are there two lines?

you can enter at any time (after opening of course) your C just allows you to pick up your bottles after 5. Go, drink from the guest taps, have some food, bang your head from the thrash metal, share some beers, then go get your beer. Oh and insert about 20 piss breaks here and there.

Last year there was a line to get into the event and separate lines for the pub, draft tent, and bottles. We got there early, got in, ran through the draft line, drank outside, then got in the B line when that started.

Shitty people auctioning off tickets for shitty prices for the right to buy a shitty beer and attend a shitty event. Craft beer rules.

Now I wonder, having seen the actual tickets on ebay, about counterfeit tickets popping up. These don't look too difficult to duplicate.

You didn't happen to notice the ticket stock its printed on with MT watermarking, and microprinting on the edges and likely a block of text on the back explaining rules, regulations, and other legal jargon, did you?

Hypothetical: people are out there with tickets who wish people would mule for them. If only they had someone reliable to contact...

I am just trying to picture this. There was the huge line that went out by all the cars. Was that the line to get in or the line to buy beer or both? If it was for both where do they split off inside?

Hard for me to say because I was inside and three sheets by the time you got there.

When we got there before the gates opened, we were maybe 200 yards from the entrance. We got in and there was a line for beer that started at the back of the warehouse and wound through stanchions and out towards the portajohns. The guest draft line was nearby also.

How's the line looking for the BA bottles? I'm considering a bike ride down there but likely wouldn't arrive until 6pm CDT or so.
