13:53 Announce DC Store is closed indefinitely with no pickups

That's not exactly inspiring me to buy beer right now

Wait, what??!!! I'd been specifically asking about crowler shipping and was told, no, loakal delivery only due to them being fresh and needing same-day delivery.

Did the crowler ship by itself or did it ship via the normal GSO carrier along with your other bottles?

Oh, man... I could have had a crowler of Blueberry Pancake BT :flushed:

Well, shit I guess I need to email the Society again and ask for the specifics. I was told in the past that crowlers were for Loakal delivery only. :slight_frown:

I had it shipped by itself. I didn't explore any options of combining with anything else.

It was really, really, really good.

Crowlers take up a 750ml slot in any bottle flex shipper. Only catch is you have to order flex shipper same day as crowler. But, good chance to grab cellar backlog while you're at it.

Can anyone clarify the shipping option? I am outside of CA but can have beer shipped. Do I need to add a flex shipper to my order or is this done and accounted for when they add the shipping price to the order?

I don't have any problem ordering the shipper the same day. I'm going to email the Bruery right now and nail down the logistics.

Unfortunately, there's nothing I'm over-the-moon about in crowlers right now, but I'll be prepared for when there is!

Imagine how I’m feeling in Michigan as I wonder how or when I’ll get my stuff.

I wish they’d expand Lokal Delivery to The Bay Area... I wanna see Ryan Dick drive that Nissan all the way up here to deliver my beer! :joy::joy::joy:

*NOTE: I’m just joking... 350 miles away is far from Lokal :joy:

Yep, very vague on if this is a short-term or longer-term issue although reading the tea leaves of "due to some recent staffing challenges", seems some guys up and quit.

Hi there - we're currently working toward that reopening - barring any unforeseen circumstances this could happen as early as next Thursday, but we'll keep everyone in the loop via email.

    Cheers,

    Daniel

Drinking my last Rue d Att. It’s doing pretty good. Maybe not quite as balanced as the original but I would definitely buy more if it’s re-brewed! Plenty of coffee and cherry flavor.

That's wonderful news - and I didn't mean to sound like I was mad that the store was closed in the slightest, lord knows I have enough Bruery Beer already to last a life and a half.

Hopefully everyone is healthy and the DC location remains a profitable endeavor for the company in the future. Cheers.

Joyride! Yes! It’s nice to taste shredded coconut again. Very nicely blended candy bar stout. Tempted to throw almonds in it just to get some crunch.

Phew, opening back up tomorrow to business as usual. Like you, I already have enough to drink, but those new allocations/bought extras aren't gonna drink themselves!

Just opened a Scotch Poterie and it has lost a lot of the peatiness/smokiness of the scotch barrel aging. If you have it, I would suggest moving it up in your que. The beer is still good, but a tick lower imo.
