You can smell the Nelson on this one from across the room. Trillium is in their bag this time around, advocates. It tastes like I remember, and I'm not complaining. Good lawwwd!!! I'm in love...

[IMG]Yes, I know cheap seats beer.
But after wiring up Tornado Sirens in a non air conditioned warehouse all day,
    It somehow seems fitting.
Not offensive is a good description.
And it's safer than water too!
Founded just after the Civil War so you know it is safer than water.

Awesome can art by Uiltje once again, I just hope it tastes better than their anniversary TIPA, I'll be looking out for this at the one place around here that occasionally gets UIltje in.

You deserve to drink a can of this while your gf is feeding you grapes, and massaging your hair. Cheers!

Finback Cat Hand (hazy double IPA with Citra, Cashmere, 007, El Dorado, and Nelson)! I would absolutely drink a four pack of this and ascend to the heavens. Freaking fantastic.

    Review here!

I had today off from work and have not wasted my time whatsoever...

Finished my garden! I doubled my raised bed from what I did last year, while increasing my total plant count from 18 to 26. A modest enhancement... double space does not necessarily mean I am comfortable crowding everything together, considering some plants need space to grow and not get tangled up underground. And above-ground, since I'm growing cukes and they tend to go wild. Here's my plant list:

    2x marigold
    2x cucumber
    2x dill
    2x sweet basil
    2x Goliath tomato
    2x cilantro
    2x romaine lettuce
    2x spearmint
    2x habanero pepper
    1x grape tomato
    1x yellow cherry tomato
    1x husky cherry red tomato
    1x white onion
    1x German thyme
    1x ghost pepper
    1x poblano pepper
    1x Tabasco pepper

On the other hand, since it's super nice out, I've been doing a bit of live techno on my three season porch using my finished modular synth rack. This is a fully-featured, all-in-one synth that I've built over the past few months. If anyone here knows anything about modular synths/Eurorack, this is not cheap. It is, honestly, fucking ridiculously expensive. But having so much control at my fingertips is humbling, enjoyable, and really intense. Sure, I built this from parts I bought, but every time I hook it up, I discover new ways to use it. Cheers, BA!

Shout out to one of the greatest NBA centers of all-time; also, shout out to the gf for bending over to take the outdoor pic. The second pic, taken by me, is what it looks like indoors. Cheers!!!

Wavelength from Equilibrium. A nice citrus and grass nose, great balance of juice and bitterness. I've only tried a handful of beers from Equilibrium so far but there hasn't been a bad one in the bunch.

Got in a walk after some work today. Thought we’d found all the predator birds in the woods, but there was a new one today. Though first we saw our old friend in the same watering hole, though this time stalking turtles:

Then, further along some people were looking into the trees and pointed out this guy/gal to us:

He just stared at us, mostly, allowing for a pic to be taken. Not selfish at all, for a predator.

This, on the other hand, is a Selfish Predator:

His-and-hers Allagash this late afternoon. My last Barrel & Bean on-hand (although the local often has more), and actually the first one I'm getting to enjoy - she's had all the others!

Tiny Dankster, a Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic & Citra hopped Pale Ale at 5.7%.

If you don't know, the Pale Ale is Cellarmaker's specialty. Crazy flavorful and will change what you think of Pales. This is the head brewer's favorite, and perhaps is mine. Always fun when they re-brew it. Canned 5/18, released yesterday. Cheers!
