    At least I got to watch 2004 ALCS game 5 last night on MLB network, and we all know what came 6 games later. Well, at least some of us with sense and soul :sunglasses:

    Man, all of the games in that series were so long, even the highlight videos I found are 20-30 minutes long, so I'll just go with this one

    Having a second Willamette Wolverine at the moment.
    Taste is rather good to my liking. Floral and fruity with some real bitterness, that I like. The Willamette hops are probably key in this taste. Never realy heared about Willamette hops before, I must say. I'll send you a link with some more info on fresh beers from Uiltje.

    Long day at work. Unwinding with some afternoon reading. One of my top 3 Batman stories, The Long Halloween has absolutely top notch use of color. Also, cat.
    Edit: forgot the beer! Aslin Soaking the Dishes, nice citrus/tropical juice at 5.5%abv. Good balancing bitterness.

    And it's tasty and refreshing but not particularly different than a lot of other NEIPAs.

    Perfect beer for a perfect weather day here on the shores of Winnipesaukee. Great day to be alive (I know, they all are, but some days stick out more than others. 80 degrees, sunny, sitting by a lake with your family...it's hard to beat). Cheers!

    I watched game 4 a few weeks ago. Actually I skipped to where Dave Roberts stole second. I think that game was over 5 hours. Such a classic. I remember missing a lot of sleep that October.

    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5

    Clear, deep golden body; lively carbonation; decent one-finger thick head, sudsy yet lasting. Low-key smell; muted esters, kind of berry-like; a little fresh green grass. A bit of honey sweetness to the backbone with some white grape notes; bread crust late in the game; a tad phenolic with a sharp bitterness at the finish. Medium-heavy body; sticky but with a dry quality; some alcohol dryness and burn.

    I'm not so sure about this one. It looks okay yet the smell is really faint and the taste is rather odd. Well, there will be more to try, so I'll update my review if things change.
