    I believe someone last night made reference to the fact that this song was completed before George Floyd's death. Obviously, that's true. While I love Killer Mike, let's not turn him into a prophet. The "I can't breathe" lyric is a direct nod to the killing of Eric Garner, which took place in 2014, if I'm not mistaken. Peace...

    Celebrating my successful (round) trip to Tree House Brewing for pick up of "Tree House on the Fly." Charlton is about 2½ hours from here, but a ride shared is great for conversation and such was had. I was impressed by the Tree House operation and how quickly we were in and out (less than 30 minutes) with no contact. Perhaps it may seem odd that I celebrated with Brewery Ommegang's Abbey Ale, but I wanted to savor the beers newly obtained after giving them time to further cool down.

    Scroll up a few posts (top of page 6). It’s amazing. I can’t say aging has made it substantially better but it’s at least as good as it would have been fresh.
