I was very fond of Curiosity 23. I don't know why, but I was. That seems like forever ago.

I remembered what it was I was forgetting yesterday right after @LeperJim told me what it was.

Hope you can find your top beers and books when you join in. Even if not, join in and tell us about them.

This is one of my favorite beers right now. Of the books, I’ve only read one, though I might try to up my percentage soon.

    I can't remember why I liked 22, either. It's crazy that they're approaching 100.

Good to know, planning to have that for a dessert this week. Is it bad I am rooting for the under appreciated kringle to work in beer?

Clear, golden body; fine, lazily rising bubbles of carbonation; head is thick and spongy; additional pour has rapidly spirally torrents of carbonation. Initial white oak aroma; white wine and champagne scents quickly appear; musty; mild lemon quality. Pleasantly tart and juicy taste; white grape; peach sweetness, some pear. Medium body; soft and spongy with the carbonation; delightful tangy bite; gentle acidity.

This is a beautifully crafted beer. Given a choice to go for NEIPAs or Belgian gueuzes, I would readily opt for the latter. There is way more delicacy and nuance to these beers than the usually brutal assault to the senses of many hazy and cloudy beers of today. This beer is quite lovely...

I have been craving some good hops recently and my fridge only has stouts and sours in it because most GA hops just don't do it for me anymore. I saw a "local" store got a drop of Ghost in the Machine so I called them up to verify they still had some four packs on hand and the guy told me they did. I drive 40 minutes to the shop and they are only selling singles for $7 each and no 4-packs since the beer is "limited" even though they told me on the phone they had 4-packs for sale. It was my first and last time going to that shop. On the bright side of things the beer was good but not really worth an 80 minute round trip for a single bottle.

Boring day again. Too hot for doing anything. Won't be long before we see one hundred degrees and ozone alerts. So we'll drink beer and raise hell!!

I have to say first that I love what this brewery does with their brewer reserve series. Secondly I'll add that this beer absolutely rocks. All that being said, I'd suggest splitting this one with a friend or drinking half at a time as I'm doing now.

Ask @GreenBayBA what he thinks of it.

Saturday has a book theme now? Are we talking fiction/non-fiction or books in general? I'm not sure I could pick a Top 5 that either

Currently reading Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond. Most of my library is about geopolitics and history (generally military history) but I read some fiction as well I'm a huge fan of John Grisham.
