    Dull, partially cloudy amber-orange body topped with a very thick and creamy off-white head. Alluring smell of ripe peach and other yellow pitted fruits; faint caramel quality. Big, juicy sweetness and prominent alcohol taste at first sip; heavy bread-like malt base; low-key hop bitterness appears at the finish. Heavy body; dense and spongy; thick and sticky; boozy warmth.

    There is no mistaking this beer for a lightweight! Big beers are a River North specialty, and this particular offering makes the grade. It has a fine and complex malt base; coats the palate with warmth and residual sugars, and has a fine, comforting boozy kick. When a hop bomb or light lager won't do, and a sour or saison aren't in the cards, chances are this one will fit the bill and bring a smile to your face...

    Another fresh Chicagoan going down. Daisy! Since I missed out on much of Saturday, posting my finally completed read. Interesting - and lots to inform conversations on BA in the last few months. But there are real differences, too, since that was flu and this is a Coronavirus.

    I like Bruce Hornsby. That man is an OG, as far as I'm concerned. This one is my personal favorite. I like to belt it out with the windows wide open, although not right now. It's pretty hot outside. I need a climate controlled environment. Peace...

    Your pours are so damn consistent it is extremely impressive.Whether it is Breakfast Stout, Ghost in the Machine, or that Hubbard's Cave IPA you are going to have a beautiful head 100% of the time

    What did you think of the movie? I got like an hour in a week ago and haven't finished it yet. If you like that style of movie might want to check out Mid90s from Jonah Hill.

    Spent a few nights over the years at the Hornsby House B & B in Yorktown, Virginia. I think it was run by his relatives. Lots of historical stuff in Yorktown.

    I went to elementary school in Hampton and spend the majority of my childhood years living in Virginia before ending up in Ohio then Georgia.

    One thing I would recommend to anyone checking out Virginia is Jamestown. Not sure what kind of breweries you will find it the area but Jamestown is a unique experience that can't be replicated anywhere else.
