    Well, I just don't have a go to style. But I do love IPAs. However, I have been on more of a lager kick recently. I had forgotten how good Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold.is.

    One nice thing about federal land is that state laws don't apply. For example: if liquor stores are closed on Sunday by state law, well, on federal ground, they're open! Voila! :grinning:

    Not saying I'm drinking on federal ground ... not saying I'm not ... but I'm willing to say the state ABV law doesn't concern me either way. Given that Brunswick is about a half hour away, and the events in Atlanta, I'd think law enforcement has some much more serious issues to ponder than their state's backwards liquor laws. :wink:

    Backwards laws indeed... just for the record I don't actually drink Everclear but I'm in the process of making some tinctures that require it. It will never cease to blow my mind that I can buy 190 proof liquor but not BCBS that isn't custom brewed for the GA market

    On a slightly related note I know a couple people who were actually angry a few years ago when Georgia started allowing Sunday sales because prior to the change in laws they used to sell marked-up booze every Sunday at a profit (aka a Bootlegger)

    When you are in the middle of nowhere in the middle of Georgia you gotta make a few bucks somehow I guess.

    Got a good nap in all afternoon after a nice sized lunch.

    Anderson Valley Cherry Gose. Excellent as usual. Nice head retention/spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, and grass; with some wheat, cracker, white bread malts; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, lactic acid, fruit tang, and light salinity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness, no pucker. Very flavorful/refreshing 4.2%. Not overly lactic or salty. Awesome balanced juicy/jammy cherries, Lacto complexity; and solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Very impressive all around. All of the variants are pretty close in rating. Need to keep the series in the rotation more often.

    I need to revisit this one as well! I remember having one of these almost 20 years ago during my first visit to Europe. It was in an old pub in Jena, Germany. Great memories of this beer!
