Since all eyes should be on this thread over the next week, I figured it was a great time to get these cushions moving again: #CIF Rules... To keep the momentum going for the #CIF (Cushion It Forward), here is this standard language: Invite list: Obviously anyone in the Newbie BIF is encouraged to participate. I'll open this up to lurkers as well. The only requirement is at least 5 trades and 100% feedback. In the spirit of the Newbie BIF anyone with less than 5 trades or with less than 100% feedback is welcome to join with a veteran sponsor. Veteran lurkers are also welcome. I will ask that you only sign up if you are committed to keeping the #CIF going. How it works: If you want a chance at these red chair cushions all you have to do is send me a PM titled "#CIF I'm in!". Include your name, full shipping address (work or home?), phone number, email address, and your Untappd name (optional). Let me know about any shipping date restrictions and style preferences. Rather than announce the recipient I will ninja the box out. The lucky BA who is surprised by the cushions will add their BA handle and location to the cushions with a permanent marker. Anyone who hasn't received the #CIF box is eligible. There are a lot of familiar names on these cushions so I need some new targets! Summer 6er box landed a few days back from @JBowenGeorgia. Unreal about of beer packed in this box. First up is 7 beers for the 6 days. Also a lot of great looking extras. If all of that was not enough, 6 days of blind chugs were also included. Thanks for everything John. Looking Forward to getting started tomorrow.

1st day blind beer from @brewnic Opened it and smelled it from the bottle, obviously a big stout that needed a snifter. From the snifter it had very little head when poured and no lacing. Smell is dark roasty malts, oak, licorice, chocolate, bourbon and slight smokiness. Taste follows the nose with a touch of vanilla and a nice chewy mouthfeel, as all big stouts should have. A little pleasant warming indicates that a 22 oz. bomber is probably going to result in a buzz.
Speaking of... I was going to put my air conditioner in the window today, but damn dude, my back is aching after hauling this box in. Wow. Barely had space on my counter for the extras, let alone the wrapped days! Last but not least, this cute AF dog bowl for my little buddy Sam! Quite the spread there... Kickass box, @thatoneguymike - thanks a bunch! Super psyched for day 1!
So after the first glass of the bomber I still couldn't nail it down more than a damn good BA stout with a warming ABV so I opened it. Damn, another big want and this time with cute fruity wrapping paper! Thanks @brewnic !

Day 1 IPA from @winehead247 Really nice balance on this. Lots of tropical notes but still some bitterness. Super good, no burn at all - I could drink a bunch of these. Edited to follow up: Hell yeah. Galactic Space Circus from Creature Comforts.
