    Day 2 from @MTKATL .

Pours maroon, oak notes on the nose, dark fruit as well. Tart, smooth, and well done. Silver cap and bottle size leads me to believe it is not from a GA brewery. I couldn't quite put my finger on the fruit until the reveal...

Some Side Project fruit - blackberries were the fruit I couldn't nail down. Excellent beer and a great two days. Thanks Mike!

Day 3: I have (2) 16 oz cans neither indicating which should be first so I grabbed one at random. Smell is a juicy IPA so poured it into a pint. Nice looking beer, golden orange haze with an impressive head. Citrus, pine and a slight dankness in the smell. Taste pops with citrus matching @brewnic 's choice of wrapping paper with some dank bitterness in the end. Definitely a hazy IPA hop bomb, probably a double. Citra hops is most likely but with other hops adding a bitter dank character that is nice, maybe Strata? [IMG]

Day 3 is a relief as its not a heavy strong stout.

Reveal day 3 can 1. This is a delicious but different hazy IPA that was unique but somehow familiar. Citra and Strata popped into my head and I could not figure out why I was thinking that. Modist Double Ghost Vision. As it turns out I actually had this beer just over a week ago (I added the picture of the can to the BA database). I enjoyed it then (rated it 4.4+) and I am happy to have it again. I added some of my blind notes here to the rating to turn it into a review. Thanks again @brewnic !! Now on to can 2.

Day 1 from @Jackd33 tasted both like a fruity IPA or a hoppy kettle sour, couldn't decide:

Day 2 from @Jackd33 was a logistical swap for two Day 5 beers. First one opened up with a Cintra bang:
Trillium's take on Other Half's All Citra everything, round two of their Freaky Friday swap:

Second beer was another IPA, bit more sweet, equally amazing:

Day 3 beer 2, another NEIPA from @brewnic . This one is a little lighter in color with a less impressive head and lacing than the 1st. Also the wrapping job is not as neat as the first .

Nice citrus smell and taste with a medium light mouthfeel. Tasty and refreshing. I am guessing a single with Citra and Galaxy.

Day 3 beer 2 from @brewnic reveal. Ok I got the Citra but it was Mosaic not Galaxy and my guess at a single because it was light and refreshing was way off.Black Stack Link In Bio double at 9.0%. Delicious beer with no indication of the ABV in the taste. [IMG]

Day 3, oh, glorious Day 3.

I was off to a good start when I saw the pour and I was like, oh great, a gose.

    (I kid.)

No, the wax and the obisidian-like color was a pretty good indication that I was probably getting into a stout, then the lack of body said to me that it was probably something barrel-aged. These things caused my pants to get tighter. Nose confirmed this, but it was fridge-temp, so the smell was muted.

Blind tastes: Honestly...first impression -- I said cinnamon. And a peppery note. So, I thought, maybe a Mexican-inspired stout. Maybe even aged in rye barrels. And so I was pretty set on those all being the case.

Instead: no rye, bourbon instead. Weller, at that. No crazy green, red and white adjuncts mentioned, just the chocolatey goodness that the malts and barrels pull out.

And it's gotten even better as it warms up. Getting caramel notes on it, almost butterscotch, even. The body isn't thick, but it has a good sticky mouthfeel to it. I don't mind it at all, great beer, actually. And a new brewery tick, that's always exciting to me.

Cheers, @max13 . Great picks so far!

Day 3 originally had 3 Listermann bottles, but alas, one was lost in shipping. This worked out in my favor because these 2 plus a Trop chugs were all I could handle!
Beer 3a I mistook for a barley wine. Maybe it was the almonds that made the brown ale seem boozy. It was very good, though.
Beer 3b was definitely bourbon barrel aged with vanilla and chocolate. Turns out there were marshmallows as well! @Sturgeon83 is determined to make me a stay puff marshmallow man before this round is over- not that I’m complaining! Great 3rd day!

I'm behind (on here) because Yellowstone doesn't have great service.

    Day 2

Climbed to the top of Bunsen Peak, pending weather made this a quick picture before running quickly to the radio tower overhang.

Poured blind (my GF really is a saint) I smelled vanilla and lactose right away and first sip said sour IPA to me. This beer was excellent I really enjoyed it, assume a local brewery to @corm44

Day 3 was a very long day spent mostly in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

No photo will do it justice but oh well

Today was also Amy's birthday so we did a nice sunset drive and got to lake Yellowstone's Lake Butte overlook.

I had an overall inclining on style based on my request to @corm44 so I had Amy pop the cap so no hints. Did have a lavender wax.

Nose had some spice (cinnamon?) It was on the tastes as well. Refreshing beer but very acetic and I could feel it in my jaw. Amy enjoyed the front of the beer, but found it a bit heavy on the sour. She loved the nose.

    Plan Bee: BouQuet

Looks to be an older vintage based on wax. Been a very long time since I've had a Plan Bee beer and it was a fun one to revisit. I enjoyed it more as it warmed up too! Thanks for a fun beer to try @corm44 ! Can't wait for a two-fer for day 4.

I'm behind on posting here, So I'll be posting the first three days now:

Day #1 was a stout with a Perennial cap. After sniffing it and taking my first sip, I knew immediately what it was. Cinnamon, smooth chile flavor and a nice sweetness:

Day #2 was some form of berry sour. Based on where @cpsfgd is located, I assumed it was something from Side Project, but I had no clue which beer it was. I really enjoyed it, though:

Day 3 was a 12-ounce can, so I assumed it would be some sort of boozy BA stout, and I was not wrong. It was smooth with a nice sweetness and I think I tasted maple. I enjoyed the stout a lot:

Liquid Spiritual Delight from 2nd Shift! I was on the right track. It was an imperial stout aged in maple bourbon barrels. This was really enjoyable. Thanks, @cpsfgd!

    Day 3 from @locoformavs was a dandy!
Black pour looks thick, no barrel notes on the nose, lots of chocolate, maybe coconut. Initial impression was like a mounds bar, creamy chocolate, still getting coconut. As it warmed the coconut aspect faded but still has a nutty flavor. Smooth, thick body.

I had no idea that Casey was making stouts, as would be expected this one is excellent. Once I saw Hazelnut I knew what it was that I couldn't put my finger on. Thanks for another excellent one @locoformavs!

Day 3 from @winehead247 Great American IPA. [IMG]
Based on what else Blake sent and how this presented my guess was that it was Tropicalia, a beer I've wanted to try for a while. And after pulling the tape, it turned out I was right. This is super solid and is something I could drink every day.
