Helluva six days spread, @thatoneguymike - glad you joined the round, and thanks again for the kickass box! I'm still working on extras - really psyched about those Fonta Flora bottles next. Cheers, man!

As if there weren't enough bangers already @locoformavs hit me with a monster yesterday for Day 6.
I could tell right away this was a big BA stout.
Nice barrel, deep roast, chocolate on the nose and taste. Great body, viscous, smooth, overall an excellent one.
And the reveal, huge want here and it did not disappoint.
Six day kill shot, great assortment of new to me beers and breweries. I don't know that I could honestly pick a 'favorite' out the bunch. They were all enjoyed immensely!

Finally home so can do some needed catchup...

Day 5 brought me to Grand Teton where we rented a canoe and put it out on String Lake....

I popped the beer blind on the boat, gave it a sniff and clearly could tell that it was a stout so I poured her up.... I got heavy chocolate notes and a good barrel character the beer was absolutely delicious. I'm guessing that we're keeping with the theme and it is a NY based brewery. Some sort of stout with chocolate

WOW, never would have guessed these guys would put out something this tasty. No adjuncts either, this beer was amazing. Unfortunately about 5 minutes later the glass was bumped and I lost ~ 75% of the beer. I was pretty sad about it, but the glass didn't break and I did get to try some of this delicious brew. Thanks @corm44

The finale on 4th of July, This was supposed to be our big hike day but after 7 days of beating the shit out of our bodies, we decided rather than a 2500ft elevation, 14 mile hike to do our backup, Cascade Canyon.

The beer as always was poured blind, smell is definitely saison like with some sort of fruit. First sip is perfectly refreshing, almost geuze like. This must be a spontaneous beer. It was perfect for the hot day and the hike. My guess is that it was something spontaneous from Suarez, but that's only because @corm44 has stuck with NY based breweries.

    Suarez Summer Whoa (Donut Peach)

Dustyn this beer couldn't have been more perfect for the setting. What a great way to end a joyful ride. All new beers to me over the course of the week. Thanks so much!

Rather than bore you with another post, here is the kill shot taken this morning

What I considered my Day 7 beer from @Scottsbeer is now what I expected... NOT A STOUT! Most definitely an old style IPA, but I was getting some sort of spice, which was weird, but refreshing. I guessed it was either coriander or pepper...

I never knew this beer even existed! Apparently the Spanish cedar imparts a sandalwood and pepper aroma and flavor. The pepper was there, but only in flavor, zero spice. This sucker went down quick. Great beer to try blind, thanks again Scott!

Glad to have a few to revisit, as well as some new ones! Great selection Scott, thanks again!

I fell a couple of days behind here, so here was Day 5 and 6, courtesy of @max13 , who finished the Summer Sixer with much class.

Day 5 was a doozy....the smell alone about knocked you down, reeking of copious amounts of maple syrup. Oooooh boy, I knew I was in for a treat.

Intense amounts of syrup, coffee, and what I thought was hazelnut. I was ready for the reveal.

    dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnn

Mikerphone keeps putting out hits, don't they? Everything that I've had from them recently have been certified bangers. A fantastic beer, for sure!

Day 6, sweet Day 6, on the fourth of July.

So, this day was fun because there was a little bag that I was told I cannot open until Day 6.

Boozy nose, deep black pour, Goose Island cap. Hmmm...wonder what this is?

Time to check the bag....well, this gave it away, but it also got me very excited!!

WOAH, MAN!! Talk about a way to finish with a bang!!

Excellent beer, and one that we would never be able to get in GA thanks to our totally sensible ABV laws (14% ABV cap), this was a delightfully rye-forward and tasty beverage.

I didn't think to keep the graveyard intact for a killshot picture, but there were indeed some fine treats included. @max13 , you are a scholar and a gentleman.

Day 4 from @byrdpickem was shared with a buddy. A ton of chocolate, like a bunch. [IMG]
the reveal was a Virtual Brownie and quite tasty!
did not have a Day 5 but I did have a blind chug which was perfect for the golf course! [IMG]
day 6 was thick with a heavy barrel nose full of vanilla! Perfect for the 90+ degree heat on the course. [IMG]
I had no idea on a guess but this was one of the better beers I’ve had in 2020, Thanks for sending this one @byrdpickem

don’t have a kill shot due to a blurry week but it was quite fun!! Love the boxes this round

Nice easy pool side drinking. This beer was different. I could tell fruit was involved, but really didn't have a good guess.

Creature Comforts Rhonda. The description explains a lot, A wine line beer. I understood more after reading the label.
    Very unique, and taste.

I saw the Hanger cap as I removed the wax. This beer was barrel aged with lots of vanilla.
I didn't realize they made a Pugachev with vanilla. Flavor was perfect and it was so easy to drink. It was almost gone before I got the reveal picture.

Was guessing another Pugachev to follow the vanilla. Lot's of barrel, but didn't notice any adjuncts.

It was great to be able to have these back to back.
    Thanks @JBowenGeorgia

My wrapped cans courtesy of @Burrass and some awesome sounding farm house style extras.
This was an amazing week of cans with all new ticks and a new brewery tick. @Burrass threw the kitchen sink at me, with fruited sours from Answer and Drekker, even some chocolate, strawberry, vanilla sours which were surprisingly great. Then came the IPAs from Answer and a “Freaky Friday” Monkish IPA brewed by Veil. The final day, he made sure to hit me hard with a BA Sleeping Forever from The Veil and a pastry stout from Answer. Such an amazing week. Thanks so much, Matt.
