I just discovered Borknagar last year because of some people on this thread. Great band!

 

I've been looking forward to trying this and it doesn't disappoint.

 

Good afternoon, BAs! Been working around the yard for the past few hours. Hop cones are finally coming in. Seems like it happened overnight!



Taking a break before heading down to the basement to organize the tools. Things have gotten messy with all the projects done around the house.

 

I'm cutting grass and painting. Don't judge me! King Julius for when I'm done!

 

It was probably from me, because I don't recall anyone else posting their songs. I rep a lot of bands from Norway, and they had an amazing album that was released last year!

 

Schell's Bock, 12oz can, best by 06/09/2020. Still holding up good. That's good since I stock piled some for summer/early fall. With age it changes some, those changes are ok with me. I think this is one of Schells better beers. It seems it age better than other local bocks.

Industrial Arts - Wrench

I've only ever had this once, courtesy of @TheGent, and I thought it exquisite. I was ecstatic to see several Industrial Arts offerings locally for the first time, so I had to snatch some up. It isn't as mind blowing crazy super duper ultra guavarama like I remember, but damn, it's dry, crisp, and very attractive with its hop profile. I could get used to this one! So nice to see a dry NEIPA for a change. Love it!

@mushroomcloud, you inspired me to drink another one of this beer! I am making plans to visit you this winter. A local resident, who lives a few miles from me, has been hired to coach the Dallas Cowboys, so I figure I would visit my relatives in Dallas, TX, and see how things are going for him, too.

 

At Somers Point Brewing drinking the first anniversary Barrel-Aged Open Waters Imperial Stout on nitro. I had this a few weeks ago and am very impressed with the flavor and complexity for 8% I don't think I've had a better BA Stout at this alcohol level. Too bad they've run out of their special anniversary stout glasses, included in the price. At least I got one previously and I do get to keep this pint glass as a consolation. Cheers!


Second pour. This is so good! They have 1.5 kegs left. Hopefully I can have some more next time I'm down here. They won't fill crowlers.
