    I can recommend a long weekend , mid-week or whatever stay in the area of Westvleteren :slight_smile:
    The whole area is a classic beer paradise. Watou has a wonderful taproom, but you'll need a driver because it is in the middle of nowhere.
    Westvleteren 12 is almost on sale every day at the shop in the cafe across the road from the abbey. Not as cheap as when you make an online reservation, but still a normal price.

    Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty were a duo known as Stealers Wheel, when they recorded this Dylanesque pop bubble gum favorite from April of 1974, that reached up to number five, as K Billy's Super Sounds of the Seventies continues.

    I have been mostly traveling local this year for evident reasons, once this bug is gone or « under control », I’ll allow myself some Belgian beercation. Being quarantined for 14 days somewhere if things get nasty again just isn’t worth it.

    Had to treat myself in this relentless, never ending heat. We got some Green, Haze, and my favorite was the Doppelganger. The Julius didn't disappoint either. Had to break out the fancy ass candle holder glass. It was dusty!

    That TR10 is $6.99 and available in most bottle shops and some grocery stores across the USA. I’m gonna do one more side by side with a Westy12 I brought back from Brussels; I’ve done a couple, and plan on adding ABT12 to the mix just for fun. Cheers!

    It was fun after the orientation/hazing was over. A beautiful place to take a walk but the winters were harsh ! Room,board and tuition cost my folks about $10K total for 4 yrs.
