    Travel day to meet up with another BA for lunch, a couple beers, and an IP trade...so taking it easy this morning - Angry Chair’s “Vodnik” a Czech-Style Pilsner:

    Rounded bready malt and spicy/floral hops. Light bitterness. Clean. A pounder with lots of flavor. I like!

    Getting all planned out about the road trip, going to drive down to Fort Wayne tomorrow and go to some breweries. Junk Ditch and Hoppy Gnome were mentioned. Definitely going to get some growlers to go! Apparently other breweries have more restricted hours.

    This is once of my favorites, I still need to review the grapefruit one.

    Second this. Not sure of the exact chemistry behind it, but that booch helps with a lot of things. Clutch on a sober/recovery day.

    You know it! I put Mirror Reaper on again last night when I got home, and more doom was in my YT recommendations this morning. It just seemed to fit the day, so I kept rolling with it.

    Funny enough, I listened to Stygian Bough earlier (Bell Witch/Aerial Ruin collab), and it reminded me a lot of some of the black metal I listen to, like Batoushka - just way, way slower. But it scratches the exact same itch.
