    Take 16 Pheasant Phestbier Oktoberfest, 6% ABV. Pours clear golden with a 1+ finger white head that left no lacing. Nose is bready and malty, taste is bread/toast, with slight bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding. I haven't had a lot of Oktoberfests, but this is by far the best I've had.

    Incredible fall day to get yardwork done, sunny, cool, and windy. Perfect day for a beer like this.

    I agree. Even if your not a cycling fan, its some beautiful scenery mixed with crazy fans. I look forward to it every year.

    Picked up this delicious Saison, Bam Bière by Jolly Pumpkin, at some point in my 20 hour round trip to University of Michigan last week. Obviously, we all have individual tastes, but this asymptotically approaches my concept of a well made Saison, dry, lightly citrusy, spicy, and refreshing; what I would want after working under the hot Sun in the vineyard all day. It is also named after that cute pup on the front:

    Brooklyn Oktoberfest. Looks and smells right, but the taste is just a bit harsh for the style.

    Wow, what a beautiful afternoon - with a hint of September in the air! Firenze is an "Italian Pilsner" brewed by Magnify. In addition to the Noble and Mittelfruh hops common to a German Pilsner, it's dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc, Huell Melon, and Crystal and conditioned in oak barrels. It's absolutely delightful! I just reviewed it on the NBW thread.

    Watched Beast (2017) yesterday - a British psychological thriller...

    I would have said it was a really cool movie but the way they chose to end it ruined it for me - literally the last 3-5 minutes killed it for me...


    I don't know the context that lead to this post but...
    I've eaten my share of lasagna that looked something like that... :stuck_out_tongue:
