Went to Oklahoma to get a Dental Checkup, admonished for not flossing enough. I guess my waterpick isn't as good as I think it is... Beer Hunting then ensued . Ska The Tropical Hazy IPA

Good evening, fellow advocates! First time with this one from Toppling Goliath, and it is a dandy! Packaged 8/06/20. My only complaint is that with a name like Dolphin Sparkles, I'd expect it to have at least a soupçon of glitter in it. Despite that glaring shortcoming, I'm looking at straight 5's on this one. Cheers!!

So my wife sent me out to get more Mountain Dew. I forgot my glasses and evidently picked up the "wrong" cans. :smirk:

Equilibrium Energy Equals, tasting great. Well with the help of 3 Bud Lights I made it thru a plate of Chicken Tikka Masala with medium heat. The flavor was great and the garlic naan bread was really goo too.

I have enough dignity to high tail it out of there if I am going to be catfished. Besides, I can spot photoshop and instagram filters to know well enough before I initiate such a meeting. I used a DSLR on a few of my profile photos(and am unretouched on all of them) to be a properly civilized person as anyone should be. I hope there will be enough women that can recognize and appreciate it. That's the only subset I want to be associated with on such a website. I don't want any snapchat or instagram hookers either.

Was planning on going to Trubble Brewing this evening, but I fell asleep again. Apparently they werent even open today. I will go tomorrow.

Sun King GFJ. Fantastic Midwest IPA.

Thin Man is local here. Some older brews are middling, but they are really starting to find a groove and learn from collaborations with other more seasoned breweries. Their DDH Cashmere Bliss I found to be very enjoyable. I assume your stout nights are few and far between, but they are making some decent imperial stouts as of late.

Late photo, perhaps I was too excited for having an above average pour.

I saw somewhere that today was World Coconut Day, so I scoured the fridge for anything I had with coconut. The only can I had was one that I got from @JayORear and had been hoarding. Starting off the night with Tired Hands' Round And Round We Go coffee, maple, and coconut birthday imperial stout, as I have my fantasy football draft. Thanks again, man, and cheers to all.

Dipping the naan in the tikka masala sauce is the best part of an Indian meal. I always find the chicken being my least favorite part of that meal...

Founders Backwoods Bastard. I bought one to see if the wife would like it, as she claims to like an oaky beer vibe. This was too much for her. I enjoy the super-strong barrel character. It’s a full mouthfeel with a strong malt base, some slight hoppiness, and a mostly non-descript bourbon aftertaste. This would probably make an interesting marinade for steak or chicken...hell, maybe even salmon. Reduce it to a gooey juice, slather it on top of the marinated meat....drink one with it...mmmm.

    Cheers for Tier's...

Southern Tier's Harvest Autumn IPA... IPA + Märzen... too drinkable... 6.7% abv...

Yesterday did a movie double header:
The 1956 original Invasion of the Body Snatchers...

    Followed by the 1978 version...
These are both such great movies but I'm gonna give the edge to the original - for being the first (other than the novel natch') - but there's also just something about the acting and dialogue back in some of these B&W films that outclasses so many contemporary films...

Well I was drinking the Harvest IPA but I've been fucking around long enough now that I'm digging into a Smashed Pumpkin now... tallboy format is a blast - and yeah I'll take a strong pour over a pansy pour with 9 out of 10 beers that aren't Duvel lol @miwestcoaster
    [IMG]
@jzeilinger - cheers man - opted for a 4-pack of this but it coulda gone either way - really dig that Cold Brew Pumking... Also - embarrassingly? - love Starbuck's Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew... I got one like every week for a month now... lol
