    Hell yes!

I will drink to that with a final shot to close the evening.

I saw the Mafia tour in 2005 at The Hippodrome in Springfield, MA. Zakk chugged a Guiness pounder half way and threw it into the crowd. I caught it, took a swig, and gave it to my buddy Matt who introduced me to BLS and whose birthday it was we were celebrating. It was a great evening.

I am off to bed. Vermin free.

I put the cap back on this beer to save it for tomorrow. But, this is LNBA. @TheGent sings words that both Romans and Spatans sing in unison. We will sit outside on our favorite chair, until our destiny is presented to us.

That voice translator is awesome. I texted it to my buddy who lives in the UP and I got a call back. They were howling like the drunken wolverines they are. Don’t cha know.

Hubbard’s Cave S’more Imperial Stout w/ chocolate, graham cracker, marshmallow, and vanilla. The adjuncts are all there in spades in a thick, chewy, creamy base. Wow...that’s literally a straight s’more in liquid form. Wow!

I've been inside all day. My COVID-19 test results came in Friday evening. I am negative. Really, aside from riding transit, I have not been within six feet of anybody since mid-March.
I had an experiment on the weekend of 22-23 August when I was on a virtual pub crawl, except it was real, for Tree House Humane Society and its cats. There is a house cat, "Bacon", at Kaiser Tiger in Chicago's west loop. He detected me as a cat enthusiast. (Many felines are quite intelligent.) From there, I walked on to Goose Island's Fulton taproom. It was out of CIVL pale ale. :slight_frown: Then I wound up at On Tour Brwg.. Patio seating was OK.
I'll curtail this. Saturday I went to Bixi in Logan Square, where its 2nd floor bar had the roof opened, so it counted as a patio. The final stop on the Tree House pub crawl was the Rocking Horse, which I have visited before, including the night of March 4th (Two of the five venues on the LSDBPS Annual Pub Crawl have since announced they will not reopen. :astonished:). It was quite nice to finally have beers on draft again. I got a discount on my tab because I was participating in the Tree House pub crawl. People there got to glimpse an early 1990s photograph of the five cats living here then. Including "Ace", a completely Black cat (Named after Patrick "Ace" Ntsolengue, a South African soccer player with most of his sides being in North America - chiefly Toronto BLIZZARD.) whose mystic powers were an element in our team's (the Chicago POWER) indoor soccer Championship in 1991. How did he obtain that power? His mother was a calico cat (also in the photograph), and all the other cats were variations on the white | gray | orange fur pattern. Somehow, he was completely Black. I didn't win anything, but I did get a better face mask to wear when I do venture outside.
Anyhow, I didn't catch anything. When I had to go downtown on the 27th to pay the abode's water bill, my temperature was measured @ 97.4°F.
Today, the beers I have had are:
    • Revolution Eugene Porter (12-oz. can)
    • Wernesgrüner Pils (12-oz. bottle)
    • Lakefront Riverwest Stein Beer (12-oz. bottle)
    • DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus (12-oz. bottle)
    • DuClaw Sweet Baby Java (12-oz. bottle)
    • Ryder No. 8 Blonde Ale (12-oz. can)
They have all been good. But as I suspected, the best beer of the bunch is the DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus.
