Local brew and local quahogs


I broke in a new clam rake today, first time I used a metal handled one. I usually get 2 or 3 seasons out of a wooden handled one, I guess I lean a little hard on them. The pros on the metal one is its stronger, doesn’t bend and it breaks apart for easy transport. The cons are it’s a lot heavier and it’s a little harder to get the feel of the clams as you rake over them. l’ll have to use it more to get a feel for it.

One of my neighbors near by has a rooster that’s been crowing for 2 days straight. I’m thinking chicken parm for dinner tonight
