    Good second Sunday of the month Civilian Marksmanship Match shoot this morning. Still so close to shooting over 400 (out of a possible 500) points with my Springfield Armory M1A, but still not there. It's a personal goal. I've achieved it numerous times with my national match AR with hand-loaded 5.56 NATO rounds. Anyway, the rifle has been cleaned and secured, got The Thomas Jefferson Hour streaming over my Ubuntu laptop and piping out my Yamaha receiver and Bose bookshelf speakers via bluetooth. Time for a beer...

    I've been a huge fan of all the Equilibrium brews I've had thus far. This one, however, is just not doing it for me. Perhaps too much orange zest. Not bad, just not my favorite. MMM...Osa. cheers!

    Son: Paper towel

    Me: You can't put paper towel down the toilet.

    Son: It's going to flood the whole house.

    Me: How much did you put down there?

    Ology DDH Michigan Chinook Sensory Overload IPA. Ology did a random beer drop out here and had never tried anything by them before, so decided to pull the trigger on this one. I’m not disappointed. Michigan Chinook has a much more tropical vibe to it compared to the PNW version. Pineapple gummi bear, underripe pineapple, white peach, mango skin, ruby red and yellow grapefruit, sugar-dusted pine resin, herbaceousness, grass. Has an awesome dryness and bitterness on the finish to make this one super drinkable and refreshing.
