You have to pay one way or another, sometimes it’s with your life. At least he won’t have to watch his children grow up and disappoint or embarrass him.

My curiosity was piqued the first time I saw. Eventually bought one. Now sharing it.

St. Bernardus ABT 12 Barrel Aged Sour is an interesting beast. It's almost a light, refreshing version of the regular, except that's just as effing strong. I'm enjoying it, but it's a beast.

Great version Larry! The original blues based Fleetwood Mac was my favorite of the two, though the popular second band had some great tunes as well.

Do you ever play without the rhythm background? Would love a tune someday "a cappella" if you're up for it.

Tonight's forecast includes a frost warning. Time to close a couple windows and enjoy my favorite Oktoberfest!

Burning Down the Fest, a lager with some of the roasty characteristics of a rauchbier. Really an entry level offering for the style.

This beer is old as balls, canned in February, provided by the most generous @colby600 and derailed by postal services and a pandemic. And even at seven months, this shows glimmers of what it probably was, and I really hope I get a chance to try it again...

Thanks!!! I like playing with a background - I do my own backgrounds, but a background adds context to what I'm playing. For example if I'm playing over a F/G chord, it's hard to imply that without a background. I do play without backgrounds all the time when I'm just playing for myself.

Oh no way, that's awesome! I do not have any Al Stewart on vinyl, and it's actually quite difficult to find stuff like this on CD. I guess today's kids would say, "What's a CD? Just download it!", but dammit, it's just not the same!

    Cheers!

I love the Future Games era - that's my absolute favorite FM album. The band was just great with Christine McVie on vocals and Dan Kirwin and Bob Welch playing guitar. This was my favorite Fleetwood Mac album - no Stevie Nicks or Lindsey Buckingham. This i one of my favorite tunes off the album.

Christine McVie was such a better singer than Stevie Nicks imho.
